Howard W. Graham, Ph.D. was the pseudonym of Howard Wandrei (born September 24, 1909, died September 5, 1956). Howard was an artist and a writer of over 200 short stories in the 1930's.
Damon Knight -
Damon Francis Knight (born September 19, 1922, died April 15, 2002) was a science fiction critic, fan, master author of short stories, and editor for Chilton Books (where he convinced Frank Herbert to publish Dune). His story To Serve Man, was adapted as an episode on The Twilight Zone. The SFWA 'Grand Master Award' was renamed the 'Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award' in his honor.
George O. Smith -
George Oliver Smith (born April 9, 1911, died May 27, 1981) wrote mainly science fiction stories about outer space. He is remembered chiefly for his 'Venus Equilateral' series, of which the story QRM-Interplanetary was the first. Good friends with the famous magazine editor John Campbell, the friendship soured when Campbell's first wife Dona left him and married George Smith in 1949.
